  • 10 tbsp. unsalted butter softened (142g)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (150g)
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar (55g)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup sour cream room temperature (160g)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp milk

How to make coffee cake? (Make the recipe this way and follow all the steps carefully.)

First step

First take a bowl and mix in 2/3 cup of packed light brown sugar (147g) followed by ¼ cup of all-purpose flour (30g). In addition, 2 tsp. Mix cinnamon. After mixing, keep this vessel on the site.

Second step 

Now in the second step, take another large bowl and take 4 cups of all purpose flour (90 g) and add ½ cup of packed light brown sugar (110 g). Then in it 2 tsp. Add cinnamon, ¼ tsp salt (you can use according to your taste) 6 tbsp. Unsalted butter (85 g) After adding butter, mix the flour and butter by hand until it becomes one.

Combine all the ingredients and mix well. (The addition of butter makes the cake crumble.) Wash your hands after mixing. And let’s move to the next step. And now turn on the oven to preheat to 350 c so let it heat up properly until all your steps are done.

Third step

In the third step, take an empty bowl and add 4 cups of all-purpose flour (210g), ¾ tsp. Salt, 2 tsp. Baking powder (Baking powder is an important ingredient to make all ingredients rise.) Mix well.

Fourth step

In the fourth step, you can use a stand mixer or your regular mixer for this. But it needs a big pot. 10 tbsp in it. Take softened unsalted butter (142 gm) and put it in a mixing bowl properly. Make a paste and there will be no lumps in it. You have made a paste of butter by adding ¾ cup of granulated sugar (150 g).

Sugar sweetens the cake. But it has another advantage. This is because the sugar helps keep the cake soft. Then add ¼ cup of packed light brown sugar (55 grams) to all this mixture and keep mixing until all the sugar is incorporated into the batter. When you feel that the sugar has been properly incorporated into all the flour. Then in it, 2 big eggs should be left to mix both the eggs one by one in the mixture.

Both of those eggs will be incorporated into all the batter. If all this mixture does not come together. So there is no benefit in making a cake. Now add 2/3 cup room temperature sour cream (160 g) to all this flour or mixture. (Sour cream should be at room temperature.)

Should not be cold and should not be too hot. (This sour cream also helps to make the cake creamy.) After adding this to the sour cream, mix the whole mixture together. Then finally in this 2 tsp. (Vanilla extract is good for serving. So you can use it according to your taste.) Now let’s mix the mixture which we made in the First step in the recipe in this mixer. Put this flour mixture in a bowl and mix well until it becomes a paste.

Fifth step

First of all, the pot in which we are going to bake the cake. Take the pot in the oven and keep the parchment paper inside the pot.

Sixth step

In the sixth step. The paste that you have prepared for the cake should be spread a little in the oven bowl. Then spread the paste on top of the paste which we have prepared in the second step.

After spreading the paste, we did the fifth step of all the mixture. Spread the paste again on it properly. After this paste is spread properly, what we have pasted in the second step. Seven step
